Bath mats
A bath mat is the first thing you step onto after a shower โ and the right one makes that moment noticeably better. Material, pile density, and absorbency all matter. A well-made bath mat dries quickly, feels soft underfoot, and holds its quality after years of washing.
At Sleep Gallery, we carry bath mats from three specialists: Abyss & Habidecor from Portugal, offering Egyptian cotton pile in 60+ colours; Uchino from Japan, known for lightweight precision weaving; and Sasawashi, whose Japanese washi fibre brings natural antibacterial properties and a uniquely textured softness. Visit us at 24 Irakli Abashidze, Vake โ our team will help you find the right fit for your bathroom.

Bath Rugs as a Work of Art
The Habidecor side of the Abyss & Habidecor brand is dedicated entirely to bath rugs โ a natural extension of the towel and robe range, designed so that the floor and the linen coordinate precisely rather than approximately. The rug pile uses the same Egyptian Giza Extra Long Staple cotton construction as the brand’s towel range, which means the texture, softness, and colour behaviour are consistent across the entire bathroom.
The defining feature of Habidecor rugs is colour. Over 60 shades are available โ the same palette as Abyss towels and bathrobes โ and because all pieces are piece-dyed after production, the colour matching is exact rather than approximate. A Habidecor rug in Ecru and an Abyss Super Pile towel in Ecru are the same Ecru. For anyone building a coordinated bathroom, this level of colour consistency across different product types is rare.
The Most and Reversible rugs are the flagship models. The Must is a single-sided thick pile rug โ dense, soft underfoot, highly absorbent. The Reversible offers the same construction on both sides, extending the rug’s useful life significantly. Both are available with an optional non-slip backing. Multiple sizes are offered, from small bath mats to large bath rugs. Made in Portugal. OEKO-TEX certified.
Sleep Gallery carries Habidecor bath rugs at the Vake showroom at 24 Irakli Abashidze Street, where the full range of models, sizes, and the complete 60+ colour palette is available in person. Free delivery across Tbilisi.
FAQ
Q: Where can I buy a premium bath rug in Tbilisi?
Sleep Gallery at 24 Irakli Abashidze Street, Vake, Tbilisi carries Habidecor bath rugs โ the bath rug line of Abyss & Habidecor โ in the full range of sizes and the complete 60+ colour palette. All models can be viewed in person at the Vake showroom. Free delivery across Tbilisi.
Q: Can I match a Habidecor bath rug exactly to Abyss towels?
Yes โ this is one of the most useful features of the Abyss & Habidecor system. The entire range โ towels, bathrobes, and rugs โ shares the same 60+ colour palette and is piece-dyed after production, meaning colour matching across product types is precise. A rug and towel ordered in the same colour shade will match exactly, not approximately. This level of coordination across floor and wall textiles is unusual in bath linen.
Q: Do Habidecor rugs come with non-slip backing?
Non-slip backing is available as an option on Habidecor rugs. For single-sided rugs such as the Must, a light silicone spray backing can be applied at the factory โ it prevents the rug from sliding on smooth flooring without affecting the softness of the pile or the ability to machine wash. The Reversible rug, by nature of being used on both sides, is typically supplied without backing.
Q: Are Habidecor bath rugs machine washable?
Yes โ Habidecor bath rugs are machine washable, which is one practical advantage of the cotton pile construction over synthetic bath mats. Following the manufacturer’s care instructions โ gentle cycle, low tumble dry โ the rugs maintain their pile structure, colour depth, and shape across repeated washes. The same Giza cotton durability that applies to Abyss towels applies to the rug range.
