The Velfont Fresh fitted sheet addresses this directly, using one of the most advanced thermoregulating technologies available in consumer bedding.
The fabric is made from 100% Outlast® cotton — a material developed originally by NASA to protect astronauts from the extreme temperature changes of space travel. Velfont applies this technology to a natural cotton base, embedding microcapsules of natural wax directly into the fabric. These microcapsules react to body temperature throughout the night: as the body warms, they absorb and store the excess heat; as the body cools, they release it back. The result is a constant, self-regulating microclimate that adapts continuously to the individual sleeper — neither too hot nor too cold, simply the right temperature.
Beyond thermoregulation, the Fresh incorporates Velfont’s SkinComfort® treatment, which adds three further performance properties to the fabric. A moisture management finish accelerates the evaporation of perspiration and promotes rapid drying, keeping the sleeping surface feeling fresh even on warm nights. A menthol refreshing effect provides an immediate, pleasant coolness on contact with the skin — particularly noticeable when first getting into bed. And a fast-drying construction means the sheet is ready to use again quickly after washing, with minimal drying time.
The Fresh fits in the Velfont fitted sheet format, elasticated around the full perimeter to stay securely in place on the mattress throughout the night.
