The grey Bella Donna bathrobe uses Formesse’s three-layer jacquard jersey in a two-tone construction — a deeper charcoal body with a lighter grey shawl collar, cuffs, and hem band. The contrast is precise and intentional. It gives the robe a tailored, structured appearance that a single-colour terry robe cannot achieve.
Furthermore, the lozenge jacquard pattern becomes more expressive in grey. The diamond weave creates a visible interplay between the two tones across the full surface. This is a robe that reads as a considered design choice rather than a standard bathroom garment.
41% Cotton, 35% Lyocell, 24% Polyester
The same three-layer construction applies across the full Bella Donna bathrobe range. Cotton provides surface softness and absorbency. Lyocell draws moisture away from the skin and releases it into the air — actively regulating the microclimate inside the robe. It also inhibits bacteria and odour formation, keeping the robe fresher between washes.
The polyester lining layer allows air and moisture to circulate through the fabric freely. As a result, the grey Bella Donna is comfortable both immediately post-bath and during extended morning wear — it does not trap heat or become heavy when damp.
Moreover, Formesse dyes and finishes all fabrics in Germany. The grey tones — both the charcoal body and the lighter trim — are produced to the same colour-fastness standard applied across the entire Bella Donna range. The two tones hold their contrast wash after wash.
