Chenille in a Non-Illustrative Design
Most people encounter Feiler through its illustrated collections — animal motifs, florals, bold colour fields. The La Glamour shows a different side of chenille weaving entirely. A stripe in chenille has a depth and tactile quality that a printed stripe on terry cannot replicate — the pile of the chenille thread creates a subtle three-dimensional surface even in a simple geometric design, so the silver tones shift slightly depending on the angle of light. It is understated but never flat.
