Description
Gold in silk satin is something categorically different from gold in any other fabric — the reflective surface of the satin weave gives the colour a genuine luminosity that shifts with the light. The S20l is piece-dyed after weaving, meaning the entire cloth is dyed as a finished fabric rather than using pre-dyed yarn. This produces a slightly deeper, more saturated tone with a faint tonal variation across the surface that is characteristic of piece-dyed silk. The warm gold suits bedrooms with natural timber, brass fixtures, or ivory and cream bedding particularly well. The 100% mulberry silk construction, approximately 27 momme weight, and handcrafted German production are identical across all Helios colourways.
