TEMPUR® Dynamic Support Technology is a structural layer within the mattress that works in conjunction with the TEMPUR® material layers above it — and its specific function is to provide additional structural support while also improving ease of movement across the sleeping surface.

In purely adaptive foam mattresses, the TEMPUR® material’s conforming properties — while excellent for pressure relief — can occasionally create a sensation of resistance when repositioning during the night. The body sinks into the adaptive surface, and moving from that position requires slightly more effort than on a more responsive surface.

TEMPUR® Dynamic Support Technology beneath the TEMPUR® material layers adds a responsive structural element that supports the body across a wider range of positions and makes natural movement and repositioning during the night more fluid. It does not compromise the pressure relief or motion isolation of the TEMPUR® layers above — it complements them from below, adding support where the adaptive foam layers focus on contouring.
