Libeco

Libeco is a Belgian linen house with roots that go back to 1858. Today it is owned by the Libeert family. It weaves its fabric at its own mill in Meulebeke, in the Flemish flax region of Belgium. Libeco is also a Warranted Purveyor to the Court of Belgium and supplies linen to the Royal Palace.

Its linen carries the Masters of Linen® label. This label means the linen is made entirely in Europe, from the flax field to the finished fabric. In addition, Libeco is one of the few weavers allowed to use the “Belgian Linen” label.

Each collection has its own weight and finish. Madison is a plain washed linen of 175 g/m², light enough for every season. Salem and Nottinghill add stripes, and Nottinghill uses a yarn-dyed herringbone weave. Heritage is made from organic flax and produced locally at every stage. Hudson, by contrast, is a heavy 410 g/m² stonewashed linen.

Linen breathes well and absorbs moisture. As a result, it keeps you cool in summer and comfortable in winter, and it gets softer with every wash.

Sleep Gallery carries Libeco bed linen and bedspreads. You can see and feel them in our showroom at 24 Irakli Abashidze Street in Vake, Tbilisi.
