Frette: Italian bed linen since 1860

Frette is one of the oldest names in luxury bed linen. Edmond Frette founded the company in Grenoble, France, on 1 December 1860. Just five years later, he moved production to Monza, in the heart of Italy’s Brianza textile district. The brand’s headquarters are still there today.

Frette soon became known far beyond Italy. The Italian royal family, the House of Savoy, chose Frette as its official linen supplier. Each piece carried the royal crest, woven into the cloth. Over time, more than 500 European royal families slept on Frette sheets.
