Q: At 30cm depth, the PRO Luxe is significantly deeper than most mattresses — does this affect compatibility with bed frames or fitted sheets?
The 30cm height is at the upper end of standard mattress depth — and it is worth checking compatibility before purchasing.
For bed frames: the PRO Luxe is compatible with all standard slatted bed bases, platform beds, and adjustable bases with legs, castors, or feet that allow air to circulate freely beneath the mattress. TEMPUR® recommends a slatted base with slat spacing of no more than 3.5cm. It is not recommended for use directly on the floor, as restricted airflow beneath the mattress can affect the TEMPUR® material’s performance and the mattress’s longevity.
For fitted sheets: standard UK fitted sheets are typically designed for mattress depths up to 30cm. The PRO Luxe at exactly 30cm will fit standard deep-fitted sheets, but it is worth checking the pocket depth specification of your sheets before purchasing. “Extra deep” sheets (designed for 35cm+) will also fit comfortably.
For bed height: a 30cm mattress on a standard bed base will result in a total sleeping surface height that many find very comfortable — but if you are particularly short, have mobility considerations, or use a very low-profile base, it is worth noting the combined height in advance.

Yes — the additional 5cm of TEMPUR® Advanced Material in the Luxe meaningfully changes the character of each firmness level compared to the equivalent in the PRO Plus.
More TEMPUR® material means deeper body envelopment — the body sinks into the surface more completely, with the foam conforming around a greater proportion of the body’s profile rather than primarily at the immediate contact surface. The practical effect is that each firmness level in the Luxe feels somewhat softer and more enveloping in initial feel than the equivalent in the PRO Plus, because there is more adaptive material absorbing and responding to the body’s weight.
This means that a sleeper who prefers Medium in the PRO Plus may find Medium Firm in the Luxe provides a similar overall support character — the increased material depth compensates for the firmer spring specification. Equally, those who find the PRO Plus Soft almost right but want slightly more envelopment may find the Luxe Soft transformative.
